Our aim is to visit hidden gems but without bringing attention to the exact location. Some places can only handle very small amounts of visitors each year. Therefore we will not mention the location at the website and you can’t tell anyone where we have been afterwards.

EASY. NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED. YOU JUST SIT IN A HIDE BUT MUST BE ABLE TO WALK 300 M TO AND FROM THE HIDE.

How to book this secret adventure

Our booking procedure is hassle-free. Just click the button “Rates & Dates”, choose the date and fill in the booking form. You pay the full amount at the time of booking. For cancellations up until 30 days before arrival you will receive a 80% refund of your total sum paid. After that you can always change names in the booking, which means you can allow someone else to take your place.

We’re not going to reveal the exact program until you arrive, but expect a program looking something like this…

Accommodation & guides

This is one of the floating photo hides where we will spend the night watching for wolverines and bears! There are two hides next to each other that we will share. There are separate toilets attached to each of tre hides. Photo: Marcus Westberg

This is Marco who has the hides. He has created an ideal setup for bear and wolverine watching. He will be our local host an d expert for this secret adventure.

This is Marcus and Christiana who will be your WildSweden-guides for this secret adventure. We will greet you and join you to spend a night in the hide.

Location and how to get here

Meeting point: Ljusdal at 2.10 pm. >> Link to Google Maps

At the end of the adventure we take you back to Ljusdal station at 11.15 am so that you can take the train which leaves 11.27 am.

Get your tickets at www.sj.se. They usually release tickets about three months in advance.

🚙 If you are arriving by car, please let us know and we will send you directions. The location is about 45 minutes North of Ljusdal.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

  • Friendly, English-speaking guides who are passionate about wildlife, and love the outdoors. You'll feel right at home with their good vibes!

  • Accommodation: 1 night in a shared cabin floating at a lake.

  • Meals: Simple but tasty meals. Dinner at arrival, night snacks in the hide and breakfast. Let us know if you have any dietary requirements.
